About Us
White Rock Friends is a community service project of White Rock Community Church. Its mission is to support the HIV/AIDS community by offering a variety of programs to assist individuals in their day to day lives. These programs work to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. White Rock Friends is part of the Dallas County AIDS Assistance Network.
Programs Offered
We are committed to the health of our clients and volunteers. Therefore, we currently operate as a drive-through/walk-through distribution event only, on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 10:00am to 2:00pm (occasionally rescheduled due to holiday weekends - follow us on Facebook to stay updated: www.facebook.com/WhiteRockFriendsOutreach).
Supplies from the general store and lunches are prepackaged and placed directly in clients' vehicles as they drive through. A walk-up process is also available. Clients must wear masks and have their client cards present. General store products may be obtained once per month. However, to-go lunches will be provided both Saturdays, so we welcome clients to visit both distribution events each month.

Owenwood Farm & Neighbor Space, 1451 John West Rd, Dallas, TX 75228 - along the covered porch on the side of the church building that faces the fire station next door.
General Store Products:
We believe cleanliness is essential to healthy living. Many people living with HIV/AIDS have limited access to personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies. The General Store distributes personal care products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) and household cleaning products (laundry detergent, bleach, dish soap, etc.) to clients of White Rock Friends. Donations are ALWAYS appreciated.
Saturday Meals Program:
Many of our clients depend on community resources for food and meal assistance. Our first and third Saturday meals program provides much needed meals during weekends, when other agencies are closed. On the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10:00am-2:00pm, we serve as many as 130 people a warm lunch. Volunteers of the lunch program offer our clients encouragement and fellowship. We can always use extra hands to help prepare and serve, and to share God's love through this kitchen ministry.
Donations are ALWAYS appreciated.
Friends Pet Pals Program:
Caring for pets provides therapeutic benefits for many of our clients. Your gifts of dog food, cat food, cat litter, grooming supplies, flea & tick control products, etc. enables them to keep their loving companions with less financial hardship. Donations are accepted on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10:00am-2:00pm at Owenwood Farm & Neighbor Space. Outside of those times, we welcome you to call us at our office 214-324-1193 or the White Rock Community Church office 214-320-0043, or to e-mail us at admin@whiterockchurch.info to arrange a donation drop-off that works with your schedule.
Spiritual/Ministerial Counseling:
Pastors are available to offer individual spiritual counseling and guidance.
Referral Network:
White Rock Friends is part of the Dallas County AIDS Assistance Network. We can assist individuals in finding other organizations that offer case management, housing assistance, medical/dental care, education/prevention, children's services, transportation, legal assistance and more.

Donations Accepted:
We welcome and appreciate donations of new, unopened, personal hygiene and sanitary products (soaps, shampoos, detergents, cleaning supplies, etc.) and pet care essentials. All donations are distributed directly to our clients.

Volunteers Needed:
Volunteers support the general store products and 1st & 3rd Saturday meals programs. We welcome help during our operating hours. Adopt-A-Friend:
For as little as $25 a month, you can provide a person with much-needed items to help them maintain healthy personal hygiene and a clean environment. And remember, your donations are tax deductible.
Sponsor Lunches:
For as little as $200, our volunteers can create a warm meal for as many as 100 people. Please see above for the various methods by which we can accept your tax-deductible donations.
