White Rock Community Church.

Join us in Mission!
For 2020 our focus is on Youth and Hunger
in addition to our ongoing White Rock Friends Ministry.
Your 2020 Mission Support Provided for:
January - Funding to support homeless LGBTQ youth through After 8 to Educate
February – funding to the Salvation Army for cooling station support
March – in honor of Pastor Pablo $1000 was donated to North Texas Food Bank to support the hungry during covid
May – In Honor of Pastor Marianne a donation was made to Our Friend’s Place, non-profit helping young women break generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness
August - Rise Against Hunger was a big success. Far less people and yet it only took us a half hour longer!
Your 2019 Mission Support Provided for:
A coat for every child at Connor Elementary School
Free pancake breakfasts for the
neighborhood in March and June
Over 10,000 meals packaged at the 3rd Annual Charles Cole Rise Against Hunger and another $1000 to Rise Against Hunger for aid to the Bahamas in August
Our partnership with North Texas Food Bank, at our church on the 2nd Saturday of each month, March through October, has provided food for over 55,000 meals! Additionally a $1000 donation was sent to the North Texas Food Bank for Disaster Food delivery to South Texas as a result of the flooding in September
The 10th Annual Blessing of the Animals in October!
In November we added a stackable washer and dryer into the Owenwood Farm and Neighbor Space.
December supported the homeless children at Skyline with Christmas wishes and food. We have additionally taken on a family of five to help move from homelessness to a home.
